So he set out to create a natural, alcohol-free hair gel that provides structure without inflicting damage. By combining the film-forming properties of proteins with the fixing power of styling resins, Jean-Marie designed a health-forward formula originally known as Gel à la Kératine. In 2012, we renamed it Gel à l’Hibiscus when Leonor Greyl R&D director David Thomas Brooks replaced keratin with hibiscus extract, chosen for its fortifying properties. This gel is amazing, I have so many fly aways and frizzy hair and hate when I use gel and it makes my hair hard. However, this gel left my hair still soft but controlling all of my frizz. I recommend this x 1000!
