How to use

Wet hair thoroughly.
Emulsify a small amount of Bain Restructurant à la Banane shampoo for curly hair between your palms.
Apply to the scalp and massage, adding small amounts of water progressively as a gentle lather builds.
Rinse thoroughly.

Launched in 1982 when perms were de rigueur, Bain Restructurant à la Banane was the first shampoo created specifically to address the resulting chemical damage to hair cuticles. Jean-Marie Greyl innovated this natural shampoo for curly hair to gently cleanse while preserving bounce. The hero ingredient, banana extract, helps with definition and shape, while plant proteins help protect and strengthen. Even without the perm, we know natural hair tends toward dehydration and frizz. That’s why Bain Restructurant à la Banane remains a true favorite for curly and wavy hair enthusiasts today.

Leaves hair clean and soft, Leonorgreyl shampoos are the only product that touches my long hair

I was worried about the clear gel consistency of this shampoo because those kinds of shampoos tend to really strip my hair and scalp, but I was so pleased to discover it made a gentle lather. It did not leave my hair feeling stripped or squeaky either. Best of all it has a light banana scent. I echo the calls for a Banane conditioner!

I love how thick and rich this shampoo feels. It is definitely the richest shampoo I have ever used and it does a great job cleansing and hydrating my course, curly hair. The first thing I noticed when I picked up the bottle was how sleek it was and how it fit perfectly in my hand, the bottle has a great design. The shampoo is thick, so you don’t need to use much. Just be sure to emulsify in your palms before applying it to your hair for even coverage. The scent is light and fresh, not overpowering at all. After washing, my hair felt clean but not stripped or dry. It helped give me volume in my hair by not weighing it down with residue. Overall, a lovely shampoo.
