I was worried about the clear gel consistency of this shampoo because those kinds of shampoos tend to really strip my hair and scalp, but I was so pleased to discover it made a gentle lather. It did not leave my hair feeling stripped or squeaky either. Best of all it has a light banana scent. I echo the calls for a Banane conditioner!

I love how thick and rich this shampoo feels. It is definitely the richest shampoo I have ever used and it does a great job cleansing and hydrating my course, curly hair. I am not a huge fan of the scent, but it doesn’t last on the hair so it’s not a deal breaker. Complimentary from leonorgreylusa.

The first thing I noticed when I picked up the bottle was how sleek it was and how it fit perfectly in my hand, the bottle has a great design. The shampoo is thick, so you don’t need to use much. Just be sure to emulsify in your palms before applying it to your hair for even coverage. The scent is light and fresh, not overpowering at all. After washing, my hair felt clean but not stripped or dry. It helped give me volume in my hair by not weighing it down with residue. Overall, a lovely shampoo. I bought this for my daughter who has very lovely but fine hair that loves to get into tangles. She does not like washing her hair but when I offer her the "whipped cream" shampoo, she is very willing to have her hair cleansed. This comes out all foamy like whipped cream and smells so wonderful. She says it does a good job not making her head itchy -this is a big concern for us as she is prone to scratching her scalp with her fingernails which causes cuts. A wonderfully gentle shampoo that smells so wonderful!

Turned my hair ORANGE! Salesperson told me all Leonor Greyl products were color safe. This shampoo is NOT! My hair is ORANGE!

Magic! I am new to curly hair thanks to a medical treatment. I tried so many products then this! With each shampoo my hair becomes more luxurious, easier to comb thru, healthier looking and feeling and it smells wonderfully decadent, too. I highly recommend this amazing product! I am lucky to have found it! Daily, I get stopped by people telling me that I have beautiful hair! The frizz that it used to be is completely gone! Best ever!

Finally got BAIN RESTRUCTURANT À LA BANANE it is EVERYTHING I thought it'd be!! Wish it came with a BANANE Conditioner 😉.

Excellent shampoo!! It's very moisturizing and detangling and leaves my long wavy/curly hair bouncy, manageable and frizz-free. I happen to love the yummy fruity/flowery scent but those sensitive to perfume need not to worry as it dissipates quickly when the hair is dry.

This makes my fine curly hair look incredible, but a lot more hair has started coming out in the shower when I use it.

Haven't used this shampoo yet, but I am looking forward to my first purchase of it soon. I've seen so many great positive reviews, and the banana scent must be delicious.

This shampoo makes my dry, curly/wavy, sometimes frizzy hair shiny, bouncy, and manageable. It's also kind to my sensitive scalp. Only drawback, as with many of the otherwise wonderful LG products, is the heavy fragrance. It fades once you've styled your hair, but it's annoyingly strong during the wash. I understand that some people like it; perhaps you could just tone it down? It would be fantastic to have fragrance-free versions of your products. In any case, I will continue to use it because it works beautifully.

Great shampoo for my dry, curly-frizzy hair. I was worried about the volumizing, but it didn't poof up too big overall, just made the curls seem healthier, as if I'd just had it salon-styled and tousled by an expert (ie, not me). Minus 1star because while THANKFULLY the shampoo does not actually smell like banana (honestly.. who wants their hair to smell like bananas?), it regrettably does still smell exactly like veterinary shampoo that's been used on my dog. Definitely could be worse, but also - for this pricepoint could certainly be better.

I have very thin/fine, wavy, color treated hair. Most volumizing shampoos just dry out my hair and make it "crunchy" and curl support shampoos weigh it down and make it feel greasy/heavy. This is my first time purchasing Leonor Greyl and so far I am very pleased. My curls look more defined with buoyancy. Lathered okay, only needed a small amount of product. Quick shipping and beautifully packaged. I took one star off for the price point and overwhelming fragrance.

I love this shampoo for my wavy, loose curls hair. I have been using this for over a year now and my hair feels healthy and supple. I tend to wash about 2/3 times per week and it leaves a nice shine and smells lovely without being overwhelmingly perfumey. I alternate with Revivisence (which I also love) and my hair is never looked better!

This shampoo is amazing and only gets better over time. My hair is curly, without frizz, with shine and bounce. Use only a small amount for great results.

i've been using this shampoo for 2 months. my curls are beautiful! my sisters continue to comment on my hair looking fantastic! great for color treated hair! my colorist stated my hair is stronger! i do use the leave in spray, Algues et Fleurs, and it"s amazing. i have thin/fine to medium curly hair.

I had been using this shampoo for a couple of months on my highlighted hair and liked the clean and shine that it produced. However, it wasn't until after my global bleach did I realize just how superior this shampoo is. All of the aftercare shampoos/conditioners recommended by my hair stylist weighed my hair down and my hair became coarse and dry no matter how moisturizing the product claimed to be. Once I started using this shampoo again, life came back to my hair! ISoft and shiny hair! I trust LG and won't ever be swayed again!

Smells soooo good! The shampoo has a great, very thick consistency, and you don't need much to wash your hair. Leaves hair bouncy and wavy - I love everything about it.

My hair gets prettier with every use of any LG product. I'm a 52 year old female with fine, fragile, highlighted, colored, thinning hair. Chemotherapy caused only minor hair loss and gave my fine, straight as a board hair lovely waves and curls. Quite unexpected! Bain Restructurant a la Banane is my favorite LG shampoo - it gently cleanses and hydrates scalp and hair without making scalp oily or weighing down waves and curls. I alternate between several LG condition and treatment masks, and apply Huile de Leonor Greyl overnight once a week. Since the products are made with exceptional and concentrated ingredients, a little goes a long way.
