In 1982, Jean-Marie Greyl was chatting with a chef friend lamenting the greasy, garlicky “eau de kitchen” that stubbornly stuck to his hair after work each night. Jean-Marie was inspired to create a shampoo gentle enough for everyday use and effective enough to banish cooking odors. The result was Lait Lavant à la Banane, a milky formula with banana extract for softening and sweet-smelling benefits. At Leonor Greyl, we refer to it as the make-up remover for hair! This cleanser is milder than a typical shampoo and leaves hair wonderfully glossy.
