In 2015, Leonor Greyl launched a radically innovative product that was the antithesis of styling gels that leave hair stiff and unmanageable and waxes that leave hair greasy. When R&D director David Thomas Brooks created Baume Bois de Rose, it was the only matte-finish styling product in the range at the time. It’s easily applied and allows unlimited creativity. This styling balm combines the fixing powers of natural waxes with the moisturizing properties of cupuaçu butter. Its delicate rosewood fragrance appeals to women and men alike. Baume Bois de Rose has won several awards and is considered a “must-have” by hairstylists.

Styling balm praised for texture and hold with fine to thick hair. Customers said it "works wonders" with a "fresh, natural smell." Most love the scent, though one found it overpowering. Use sparingly to avoid stickiness or greasiness. Best applied to damp or dry hair. Some noted it can be sticky and may cause second-day greasiness.

I really like to use the Baume Bois de Rose to smooth my fly- aways. I have fine, dry hair and this product made my hair look nice! I almost patted it into my hair, because of the texture, then brushed it, and was good to go!

This product is the best styling product I have found....and I have used many. I have fine hair so assumed it would be too heavy. If you use it with a warmed-up, thin amount it adds a sculptural, non-greasy quality to fine hair. I assume it's also fantastic for thick hair as well; I am sending it to my mother to try it out on her thick hair! The scent is marvelous, even for those who are sensitive.

I don't like this product and wish did not purchase it, it is too sticky and very hard to apply I will never buy it again

Worth the wait! I have medium length, very fine hair and tons of it! Hard to use almost everything. Discovered hair clay but they all smelled too much of men’s cologne. Then I found this. Really a fresh, natural smell. Far from loud. My advice to other women trying this: less, then less of less, is more with this type of hair product. Push a minute amount, back and forth, between palms until it drags well, start at the back half of your head and be vigorous as you start pulling it from the roots up and out lightly & quickly as you work to the back then use what is left for the front of your head. Use the same technique no matter if you have to add a tiny bit more. The volume and “hold” is such a time-saver! A touch too much in the front spells disaster for me in a limp, oily mess. This is An operator-error hair product when used on the right hair textures. I use it like this on damp or dry hair.

Baume Bois de Rose is a great texturizer provided you use only a small amount. Unfortunately, the fragrance is unpleasant and overpowering. LG, please go lighter on the scent.

This is an interesting product. The smell is the best part of it. I found it to be best used on dry hair, otherwise, the hairbrush gets gooped up with the balm while blowdrying. The first-day use the hold and texture are amazing. However, the second-day hair where the product was applied tends to look really greasy. I still think it is worth adding this balm to the hairstyling rotation.

Works wonders, surprised me how effective it is at keeping my disheveled hair in style. Definitely recommend !

This balm is amazing - it is similar to a wax and is indeed made of several plant and fruit waxes and therefore smells amazing. It seems a bit sticky at first however it gives your hair great texture and manageability with just a small amount. The smell is completely addictive (floral and woody). Recommended!

I have never had a styling baume that works as well as this one! I heard about it and knew I had to try it. It works best for me when I towel dry my hair and apply... and it smells amazing!!

I just bought this Baume and I am in love!! I have short, choppy hair and it's the perfect styling cream. It holds my style without leaving my hair too sticky. Fabulous!
