Marie Claire Magazine tells us how to get ready for fall

In addition to crisp weather and red and gold leaves, the fall weather can also bring on dried out hair. L.A- based celebrity hairstylist, Adir Abergel who currently works with Jennifer Garner, Anne Hathaway, and Jennifer Lawrence, says that it’s vital to deeply condition your post-summer hair.

“If your hair is so damaged that it’s breaking and the ends are splitting, then you really should chop those ends off. While a deep conditioner can’t permanently seal the damaged ends back together, it will definitely give the strands the appearance of looking healthier. I have a client whose hair started breaking off because she’d colored it multiple times for movie roles. Because she needed to keep the length, I had her use a conditioning mask- Leonor Greyl Masque A L’Orchidee- two to three times a week, and after a month, her hair had more elasticity and shine. Keep in mind that over-washing strips natural oils, so don’t shampoo more than three times a week, (we suggest Shampooing Creme Moelle de Bambou) and use a deep conditioner each time, leaving it on for as long as you can. By the way: When hair is in a fragile, post-summer state, try to let it air-dry 100 percent before puttingany heat on it. You’ll eliminate so much damage from your daily routing. it’s crazy.”
