Throw away your blowdryers ladies and embrace those waves. Summer is the season of the sexy beachy wave and we have the secret to making them look perfect.
Our super stylist Danny Jelaca, of the Danny Jelaca Salon in Miami revealed his super simple wave-making recipe.
After what seems like the longest winter ever we are finally ready to pack up those sweaters (most of them) and start spending our weekends beachside (as nature intended).
But while our bodies love the beach, our hair has a different opinion. Intense sun, sand and salt punish and damage our locks causing split ends, frizz and color damage. → Read more

I was at the salon today when my stylist looked at me with dismay.
“You don’t love your hair at all,” he said, holding up the ends of my hair like they were browned banana peels.
“I do,” I replied, confused.
“If you did, you wouldn’t abuse it like this,” he said before storming off to fetch a deep conditioning treatment.
We got to talking about it and I learned that I do indeed abuse my hair. We all do. Below are five things you inflict upon your hair without even realize you are causing lasting damage! Maybe it’s time for all of us to make some new hair resolutions for the Spring? → Read more

The secret is a little Leonor Greyl of course!
Peter Butler and Leonor Greyl products were chosen once again for the 2013 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit cover. Butler has been working on the swim issue for years and is a seasoned pro when it comes to working with hair in all kinds of weather conditions! That knowledge certainly came in handy when he traveled to Antarctica for the shoot of supermodel Kate Upton.
We asked Peter how he achieved Kate’s carefree look (in subzero temperatures no less). He was happy to reveal a couple of his secrets. → Read more
Sometimes we wonder if men these days have forgotten the simple rules of proper grooming. We see all sorts of disheveled hairdos strutting down red carpets. Where did all the glamour go? We simply love this look! It’s like Don Draper had a love child with young Elvis. We asked one of our favorites celebrity stylists, Vinz, how the men in our world could recreate it at home.
“The trick is to first apply a little Eclat Naturel for a rich, extremely malleable texture. Use a comb to slick back the hair and mold into shape. Complete the look with the Gel a l’ Hibiscus, for control and a high shine that isn’t too stiff. Viola!”
We were blown away by this gorgeous cover shoot stylist extraordinaire Terry Millet did with Sharon Stone for Amica magazine. Not only does Stone look sexier than ever, but her hair may just look better than it did in her twenties! The secret? Terry styles Stone’s lovely locks with some of our Leonor Greyl faves. → Read more
Claire Danes was certainly the first lady of the Golden Globes this year. The “Homeland” actress did a 180 from CIA agent Carrie Matheson to red carpet vixen at this year’s awards—going from crazy-town to sexy-town. What we loved most about Danes’ look were her carefully tousled waves (the Atelier Versace dress wasn’t too shabby either).
It isn’t easy staying gorgeous in the subzero temperatures of the Sundance Film Festival. Well, it isn’t easier for most of us. Naomi Watts makes glam look totally effortless—even in the snow.
Celebrity hairstylist David Stanwell created Watts’ look using Leonor Greyl products for the premiere of “Two Mothers” at this year’s festival in the Utah mountains.
For Sundance, David wanted to create a natural beach wave that looked effortless and simple because Naomi attended several functions throughout the day before the premiere. → Read more
